Technologies
Deploying tomorrow's energy solutions.
Different technologies. One goal: removing CO₂ from the atmosphere.
Methanation
CO₂ is isolated at the source on partner industrial sites. Instead of being released, it becomes a raw material.
H₂ produced by electrolysis of water, powered by renewable electricity.
In a catalytic or biological reactor, CO₂ and H₂ recombine into synthetic methane (CH₄).
Identical to natural gas but from a circular carbon cycle, it is injected into existing grids: district heating or bio-CNG.
Direct Air Capture (DAC)
Powerful fans draw ambient air through the infrastructure. This method extracts CO₂ directly.
The air passes through a solid filter that retains CO₂ molecules.
The saturated filter is heated to ~100 °C, releasing pure CO₂.
Purified CO₂ is compressed, then directed to two outlets: permanent underground sequestration, or valorisation as a raw material.
