These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern the relationship between SAS STAAQ ENGINEERING and users subscribing to a CO₂ capture service on zerocarbonsquad.com.
These Terms set out the conditions under which SAS STAAQ ENGINEERING (hereinafter "ZeroCarbonSquad" or "we") provides, through a monthly subscription, a biogenic CO₂ capture service to the user (hereinafter "the Subscriber" or "you").

The Subscription consists, for the Subscriber, in financially supporting the deployment and commissioning of CO₂ capture technologies (methanation units being deployed), in exchange for non-financial benefits (member certificate, access to project tracking, badge, invitations).
The Subscription does not guarantee an individual volume of captured CO₂ on the Subscriber's behalf and constitutes neither a personal carbon-offset operation nor a financial investment.

ZeroCarbonSquad offers the following monthly support plans:
The benefits described are best-efforts commitments, subject to change; they involve no promise of a volume of CO₂ captured per Subscriber.

Any price changes will be communicated to the Subscriber by email at least thirty (30) days before they take effect. The Subscriber retains the right to cancel the subscription free of charge before that date.
Payment is made exclusively by credit card, through the secure Stripe platform (3D Secure enabled). No banking data is stored on ZeroCarbonSquad's servers.
The charge is monthly, on the anniversary date of the subscription. In the event of a failed payment, ZeroCarbonSquad notifies the Subscriber by email and attempts further charges. After three successive failures, the subscription is suspended and then terminated as of right.
An invoice is issued at each renewal and made available in the Subscriber's account. It is also sent to the email address provided.
The subscription is concluded for an indefinite period and without commitment.
You may cancel at any time, in one click, from your Subscriber dashboard or by writing to contact@zerocarbonsquad.com.
The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly period. No pro rata refund will be issued for the period started.
In accordance with articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have a fourteen (14) calendar day withdrawal period from the date of subscription, without having to justify reasons or pay penalties.
To exercise this right, write to contact@zerocarbonsquad.com with your identity and the date of subscription. The full refund of amounts paid is made within 14 days of the date we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
Note: unless you expressly waive this right, the effective execution of the capture service only begins after this 14-day period.
ZeroCarbonSquad undertakes to use all reasonable technical and human means to deploy and operate the CO₂ capture technologies funded by Subscribers.
Our obligation is a best-efforts obligation, given that the gradual deployment of our methanation units is subject to industrial constraints (administrative authorizations, connection schedule, agricultural partners). The capture activity is published and audited in accordance with Article 2. No volume of captured CO₂ is guaranteed individually to the Subscriber.
In the event of a lasting interruption of the funded capture activity, the Subscriber may cancel at no cost. Our liability shall not be engaged for indirect damages (loss of opportunity, unproven moral prejudice, etc.).
Neither party shall be held liable for a breach of its obligations resulting from a case of force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code (natural disaster, armed conflict, pandemic, governmental decision making the service impossible, etc.).

For any complaint, the Subscriber may write to contact@zerocarbonsquad.com. We undertake to respond within a reasonable time.
Pursuant to article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, and in the event of a dispute that could not be resolved amicably, the consumer Subscriber may resort, free of charge, to a consumer mediator whose details will be specified in the final version of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, and in the absence of amicable resolution or mediation, French courts shall have sole jurisdiction. The consumer Subscriber may, at their choice, refer the matter to the court of their domicile or that of the registered office of SAS STAAQ ENGINEERING (Paris).
